Kalamazoo, MI — February 14, 2026 — This Valentine's Day, Kalamazoo audiences are invited to experience a one-of-a-kind cultural celebration as Lunar New Year meets Valentine's Day at the historic Chenery Auditorium. The event will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, welcoming the Year of the Horse—a powerful symbol of vitality, strength, and new beginnings in Chinese culture.
Hosted by the Chinese American Association of Greater Kalamazoo (CAGK), the evening will feature a dynamic lineup of performances by talented local artists, showcasing the richness and beauty of traditional Chinese culture. Performances include:
In addition to live performances, guests will enjoy interactive cultural experiences, including a Chinese New Year–themed photo backdrop perfect for social media, a red envelope good-luck drawing, and a festive gift bag filled with symbolic blessings to take home.
