"Hardening" is a story about a young Harding Jr. being raised in a white neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY called Boro Park. Wanting to belong, he gets himself involved with a street gang and eventually organized crime. Along the way he ends up in prison in Queens, NY, then becomes a fugitive, and finds his way to a town called Fayetteville, NC. Through his redemption, Harding becomes one of the best-known bounty hunters in the state of North Carolina.

Harding is from Brooklyn, NY and currently resides in Lumberton, NC with his wife and son. He is Christian and a member of the Manna Church. He enjoys riding motorcycles and bodybuilding as well as spending time at the beach.
