FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - s4story -- The 11th Annual Island Hopper Songwriter Fest is nearly here, and Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach is set to host the Fort Myers Beach kick-off event on Friday, Sept. 19, in addition to the weekend of live music and storytelling Sept. 26-28.
Ranked as a top music festival in the 2024 USA Today 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards, this free music festival showcases more than 100 performances at island venues throughout Southwest Florida. The greatest BMI singer-songwriters from Nashville and nationwide will travel to Southwest Florida for the 10-day music festival that commences on Fort Myers Beach. Most of the shows, including the kick-off event, are free with the exception of select ticketed and specialty shows.
