"We are thrilled to be part of Balticon," says Amy Spungen, EFA Events chairperson. "Many of our editors specialize in science fiction and fantasy, some of us write in these genres, and our members represent lots of fandoms!"

From cosplay to filking, Balticon will have something for everyone. The convention will be held at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel and is expecting to host more than 1,500 fans this year. Convention-goers will enjoy events featuring authors, publishers, live-streamers, and tech innovators.

Founded in 1970, the Editorial Freelancers Association is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators, and others who work in publishing, communications, and related fields.
