Motherly's acquisition of Motherhood Understood is part of a larger Motherly Collective strategy to serve as a user-generated platform for mothers to share their stories. The mission of Motherhood Understood is to educate, connect, and prepare women for the emotional complications that sometimes accompany childbirth in the weeks, months, and even years that follow so that no woman has to suffer from a pregnancy or postpartum mental health illness in isolation.
