New Film On The NCAA Basketball Tournament Premieres In The Washington, DC Area

HYATTSVILLE, Md. - s4story -- UNITED FILMMAKERS, LLC, a vertically integrated motion picture and television production and distribution company, proudly announces the world premiere of its new feature-length documentary film, THE GAME THAT CHANGED COLLEGE BASKETBALL. The premiere will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts (15200 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715).
The event kicks off at 4:00 PM with an exclusive V.I.P. reception, featuring complimentary food and refreshments, as well as a "Meet & Greet" with the film's Director and several star athletes featured in the documentary. The movie screening begins at 6:00 PM, followed by an engaging audience Q&A session. Doors will open at 3:45 PM for V.I.P. guests and at 5:00 PM for general admission to the screening.

Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Shuaib Mitchell (President/CEO of United Filmmakers, LLC), "The Game That Changed College Basketball" is a feature-length documentary film that tells the amazing story of the historic 1974 ACC Championship game between N.C State and Maryland and how it changed the face of the NCAA Tournament and the game of college basketball forever. The film features some of the greatest names in college basketball and sports history including the late Hall of Fame basketball coach Charles "Lefty" Driesell, David Thompson (Basketball Hall of Fame), John Lucas, Len Elmore, Tom McMillen, Maurice "Moe" Howard, Tom Roy, Monte Towe, Billy Packer, John Feinstein, and "the voice of Maryland Basketball" Johnnie Holiday. Len Elmore also serves as Co-Executive Producer of the film.
