New from Down & Out Books: ALL MY SINS REMEMBERED by Ron Cooper
S For Story/10509789
TAMPA, Fla. - s4story -- Down & Out Books is pleased to announce that ALL MY SINS REMEMBERED by Ron Cooper has been published on November 29, 2021 in trade paperback and ebook formats.
About ALL MY SINS REMEMBERED …
Former academic now veteran Deputy Sheriff Blevins Bombardi tries to solve a freakish murder in a Florida national forest. He is distracted, though, by struggles with his inner demons: heavy drinking, depression, suicidal thoughts, and torment from the recent murder of his wife.
In the meantime a category five hurricane rushes toward Florida in February, the bears in the forest are mysteriously slaughtered by arrows, politicians push to privatize all public lands, a vagabond cult squatting in the forest clashes with locals, and Bombardi cannot track down his runaway daughter.
When a bizarre ex-con shows up insisting that Bombardi help him locate a former love (who may be imaginary), the Deputy Sheriff may have to step far outside the law to restore any order to his off-balance world.
All My Sins Remembered joins Ron Cooper's previous novels as part mystery, part philosophical inquiry, and part tragi-comedy. Winner of a Florida Book Award.

Meet the author …
Ron Cooper was born and raised in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Following a BA from the College of Charleston and an MA from the University of South Carolina, Cooper was awarded a Ph.D. in philosophy from Rutgers University. After publishing philosophical works, he turned to fiction, and of his first novel, Hume's Fork, Ron Rash called it "one of the funniest novels I've read in a long time." The Washington Post called his second novel, Purple Jesus, "a literary event of the first magnitude" and said that the book "is so perfectly written, it's exhilarating to read." The Southern Literary Review called his third novel, The Gospel of the Twin, a "page-turning adventure marked by the same well-crafted prose of Cooper's other works." His new novel, All My Sins Remembered, is his first set in Florida, and William P. Baldwin declared it "a red-hot ball of iron marvel."
In its twelfth year as an independent publisher of award-winning literary and crime fiction, Down & Out Books (https://downandoutbooks.com) is based in Tampa, Florida. For more information about the book, to request a review copy of the book, or to inquire about an interview with the author, contact info@downandoutbooks.com.
