TORONTO - s4story -- JF Garrard, award winning BIPOC writer, editor and indie publisher has launched a new independent podcast, The Artsy Raven, which explores the craft of writing a book, which can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a person's life.

The Artsy Raven host JF Garrard interviews authors, editors, agents, publishers and other art industry professionals about what inspires them to create and what led to their success.

"This podcast was created during the COVID19 pandemic, a time in which people can slow down and enjoy an intimate interaction with authors by listening to not only an interview, but also a reading. Most shows only interview authors and it's a shame many of the authors do not get a chance to share their actual work with the audience," says JF Garrard. "As well, many life skills are transferrable and in speaking to other arts professionals about editing, publishing, marketing and even cake design, listeners can catch a glimpse of what life is like on the business side of writing."
