New York Based Journalist Brings Inclusivity, Networking And Culture Through Monthly Spades Event

'Love, Peace & Spades' is a monthly game night at The Line Hotel, centering on creating a safe and inclusive space.
LOS ANGELES - s4story -- LOS ANGELES, CA -- Subject To Change, a creative consultancy company, announced today the second installment of its Spades-centric game night titled Love, Peace & Spades, which is set to take place on Wednesday, January 4th, at The Line Hotel.
Love, Peace & Spades is a monthly game night for people who want to enjoy classic Black family heirlooms such as Bid Whist, Tonk, Uno, Dominoes, and, of course, Spades. Through the intersection of music and play, Love, Peace & Spades spotlights Black-owned companies, promotes intergenerational communion, and offers lessons via Spades School as a "healing, safe space for those looking to learn how to master the game."
"From Brooklyn, New York to Akron, Ohio to Los Angeles, California, and places in-between, it was hard to find a place where people consistently play Spades," Kevin L. Clark said. "Also, there was a lot of trauma associated with the game from those who tried to learn how to play. 'Love, Peace & Spades' is created to be a bridge using music and play to address those two big problems."
