FLORENCE, Ky. - s4story -- Caring Excellence Northern Kentucky and Linnemann Funeral Homes team up to provide practical guidance for local families
BURLINGTON, Ky. — Planning ahead can make some of life's most difficult decisions a little easier. This November, Caring Excellence Northern Kentucky and Linnemann Funeral Homes are partnering to offer local families a free opportunity to learn about care, independence and preparing for the future.
Caring & Planning with Excellence will take place Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Boone County Library Main Branch, 1786 Burlington Pike in Burlington.
The free community program will explore several decisions families commonly face as parents and loved ones age. Topics include in-home care options that can help people remain safe and independent, when it may be time to consider additional assistance, funeral preplanning, and how to make decisions.

"At Caring Excellence, we meet families at many different stages of the aging process," said Marcus O'Malley, Director of Caring Excellence Northern Kentucky. "You don't have to wait until there is a crisis to learn what options are available. Having these conversations earlier gives families time to make thoughtful decisions together."
Caring Excellence provides personalized non-medical home care in Northern Kentucky, helping older adults continue living safely and comfortably in the place they call home. The organization serves families throughout Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties, including those seeking home care in Union, KY, home care in Florence, KY, and surrounding communities.
The event reflects a shared goal between Caring Excellence and Linnemann Funeral Homes: helping Northern Kentucky families feel more informed and prepared for decisions that can otherwise feel overwhelming.
Caring & Planning with Excellence is free and open to the community. Registration is encouraged. Questions can be directed to rachel@lfhmail.com.
