CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - s4story -- Set to release on June 28, "The Angle of the Angels" by David Lee Howe is a romance novel that incorporates original music into the narrative.

"I had always wanted to write a book, so I decided to put the songs into a story and publish them all at once," says Howe, whose longtime dream was to publish the songs he had written over the years. Howe worked the lyrics into the narrative to convey the inner thoughts of the two protagonists, Julie and Hunter.

The songs featured in the novel will be published in three albums along with the book. Christian themes can be found in both the novel and in Howe's lyrics. Howe says, "One of the songs in the book is titled, 'I Stand Down.' I've struggled with God over the years and am saying in that song, 'Reveal yourself to me!' I realized that through my struggles, He is doing exactly that—revealing himself to me."

Julie Christianson is a beautiful, talented voice major at a renowned private college. She has mastered her curriculum but struggles with her creative writing. She is popular—the envy of friends who love her deeply. Scratch is the Devil in mortal form, disguised as a British guitar virtuoso. He arrives in town in order to work his way into their band.

Drake is the Director of Angel Affairs. He is certain that Scratch is going to tempt Julie and Hunter to try and steal their music, and their souls. The decision is made to dispatch an angel who is attempting to gain her wings.

David Lee Howe was born and raised in the heart of the Finger Lakes region, just outside of Ithaca, NY. Currently, he is a business faculty member at North Country Community College in Saranac Lake, NY. In his spare time, he is a beekeeper, musician, song writer, and author.
