One Night Only Members of American Idiot Original Broadway Cast Reunite for CURE Epilepsy
S For Story/10688839
NEW YORK - s4story -- CURE Epilepsy is proud to present CURE Epilepsy Takes Manhattan, an inspiring one-night-only event on May 4 at DRAMMA in New York City, featuring a reunion of original cast members from the Broadway hit American Idiot. The evening blends together an intimate program of music, storytelling, and meaningful conversation in support of life-changing epilepsy research.
The event will be hosted by Broadway star Miguel Cervantes (Hamilton on Broadway and in Chicago) and his wife, award-winning author, speaker and CURE Epilepsy board member Kelly Cervantes. The Cervantes' personal journey losing their daughter Adelaide to epilepsy days before her fourth birthday has made them passionate champions of epilepsy research.
This year's featured performers include an extraordinary lineup of Broadway stars from the original cast of American Idiot, reuniting on stage for this special evening: Rebecca Naomi Jones (Hadestown), Libby Winters (Almost Famous), Ben Thompson (Waitress), Alysha Umphress (Scotland, PA) and Brian Johnson (original cast of Spring Awakening). They will be joined by Andrew Call (original cast of Groundhog Day) and Van Hughes (original cast of Almost Famous), making this a rare gathering of acclaimed Broadway talent in an intimate setting.
