JACKSON, Tenn. - s4story -- Pastor Dr. April Webster delivered a powerful sermon titled "Grace Knows Your Name" (based on 2 Samuel 9:3-5) during the regular Sunday morning service at Destiny Church in Jackson, Tennessee. Some trust in champions and some trust in horses. Some trust in the name of the Lord. Oh yes, Lord. But He will not fail. He cannot fail…"

She then spoke directly to those who have experienced rejection or abandonment:

"Dropped by absent mothers, dropped by dysfunctional environments and families, dropped by childhood drama. Some were dropped even in the house of God by leaders that were supposed to cover them and cultivate the gift on the inside of them, but instead they dropped you. But the drop didn't destroy you. The drop didn't disqualify you. The drop did not cancel the covenant that God has on your life. The drop did not erase your purpose. The drop can't change your calling.

I came to tell somebody: You may have been dropped, but it's time for you to get back on your feet. You are more than your pain. You are more than a drop. And what they drop, God preserves. And grace is about to find you. You've been hiding, but grace already knows your name. You've been in the seat of the lowly, but grace said it's time to come out."

The sermon deeply resonated with the congregation, offering hope, healing, and a powerful reminder of God's preserving grace.
