After earning his Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Florida—along with studies at the Vicenza Institute of Architecture in Italy—Ballasch returned to the firm full-time. He rose through the ranks to become Design Principal and eventually President, guiding DAG Architects from a single local office into a regional firm with six locations serving clients across the Southeast.
