Premier fundraising event to unite physicians, patients, advocates, and community leaders in support of advancing prostate cancer care
SEDONA, Ariz. - s4story -- The Prostate Cancer Institute of America Foundation (PCIA Foundation) is proud to announce its inaugural Annual Charity Golf Tournament, taking place on September 12, 2026, at the acclaimed Seven Canyons Golf Club in Sedona, Arizona. Held during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the tournament serves as both a fundraising event and a powerful platform to elevate awareness about prostate cancer, the second most common cancer among men, while supporting education, research, patient advocacy, and access to life-saving care. The event will bring together physicians, patients, healthcare leaders, business partners, and supporters for a day dedicated to advancing prostate cancer awareness, education, and innovation.
With a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start, the tournament is designed to be more than a day on the course. The event will serve as a platform for meaningful connection, collaboration, and fundraising efforts that directly support the Foundation's mission of improving access to trusted information, strengthening physician education, and helping bridge the gap between patients and the care they need.

Set against the backdrop of Sedona's iconic red rock landscape, the tournament will feature opportunities for golf participation, sponsorship engagement, volunteer involvement, and charitable giving, all centered around creating lasting impact in the fight against prostate cancer.
"Our vision for this tournament goes far beyond golf," said Dr. Ajay Bhatnagar, Founder of the Prostate Cancer Institute of America Foundation. "We're bringing together people who share a commitment to changing lives. Every conversation, every partnership, and every swing of the club will help move us closer to a future where patients have greater access, stronger support, and better outcomes. And if we can lower a few golf scores while raising awareness, that's a win-win."
Tournament organizers are currently welcoming golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers to participate. Sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations seeking to align their brands with a meaningful cause while connecting with healthcare leaders and community stakeholders.
