CHICAGO - s4story -- Phoenix Studios 1532 Media has officially entered pre-production on Angels in the Quad, a brand-new live-action television pilot. Spearheaded by Executive President Dustin Clapier and Producer Casper Alexander, the independent project is slated to shoot in Central Illinois this coming August under the creative direction of 30-year-old filmmaker and screenwriter Patrick Bell.

The series introduces viewers to Suzie Bartholomew (early 20s), a former standout basketball player who has isolated herself from her community following her mother's death. Her life is disrupted by the arrival of Puffy, an enthusiastic guardian angel-trainee on a mission to restore Suzie's faith and purpose. However, their path to recovery is directly threatened by Hayley Hightower, a calculating demon masquerading as an eccentric antique dealer.
