Rachel Anne Cox Signs Her Popular Dystopian Novel A Light From The Ashes At Barnes & Noble In Layton, Utah
S For Story/10403981
Utah author Rachel Anne Cox, whose book launch began with print and broadcast interviews plus appearances in indie bookstores and unconventional venues, will be at Barnes & Noble Booksellers at Layton Market Center in Layton, Utah on Saturday, February 15, from noon until 3:00PM.
SALT LAKE CITY - s4story -- Cox will read from A Light From The Ashes and answer questions about writing and publishing. The fast growing popularity of her literary dystopian novel for adults owes much of its realness to her skill as a researcher for historical book themes.
A Light From The Ashes is set in the future wasteland of Virginia where Sam, the son of revolutionaries, wants nothing more than to leave the violence of his past behind him, but the impending Third Revolution and the two women he loves may not let him. With his loyalties torn between his affection for Sophie and maintaining the tentative peace which has prevailed in the land, Sam must navigate the fine lines between peace and rebellion, love and hate, while trying to find his humanity in an inhumane world and within himself.
Cox plans to tour with A Light From The Ashes through the Southwest and Southeast before a special event at Book Expo America 2020 in New York City where she will be a featured author at the Jacob Javits Center.
