This year, on the anniversary of those protests, underground artist and provocateur Shane Bugbee is launching Bomb Ass Recipes from the Kitchen of Bernardine Dohrn & Bill Ayers—a cookbook that serves up a side of rebellion with every dish.

Known for his controversial projects like Cooking with a Serial Killer, Bugbee's latest work invites readers into the kitchen of two of America's most notorious activists. The cookbook is more than just recipes; it's a blend of personal stories, radical ideologies, and rare memorabilia, all linked to the counterculture icons of the Weather Underground.

The launch date was specifically chosen to coincide with the Days of Rage, marking an important moment in American history when the Weather Underground challenged the establishment and captured the attention of a nation.
