ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - s4story -- Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) announced the close of its $10.9M acquisition of five affordable senior housing communities in Minnesota from Ecumen, one of the largest and oldest non-profit housing and service companies in the U.S.

In an ongoing effort to preserve affordable housing across the country, RHF acquired five communities in Minnesota from Ecumen: Bethel Manor I & II and Winona Shores in Alexandria (159 units); Park Villa in Park Rapids (27 units); and Parmly Lakeview in Chisago City (57 units).

"We're excited to bring these beautiful, vibrant communities into the RHF family," offered RHF President & CEO, Stuart Hartman. "This acquisition aligns with our mission to provide quality, affordable housing for seniors." RHF's purchase of these communities will help ensure they remain affordable for the next 40-50 years.

Hartman and RHF leadership recently visited all five communities to welcome residents and staff to the RHF family. The team answered questions about the transition, listened to residents' stories, and reaffirmed RHF's commitment to providing the stability, care, and support these communities deserve. The team also strengthened relationships at the Minnesota HUD office, reinforcing RHF's dedication to providing high-quality, affordable senior housing throughout the region.
