Richmond Family Launches Birthday Battle Box: Nerf Party in a Crate, Shipped Free Across East Coast
S For Story/10706911
Every crate carries a blaster for every player, 1,000 darts, camo netting bunkers and seven ready-made games. Parents run the party, and the box ships back free.
RICHMOND, Va. - s4story -- Birthday Battle Box, a new party service from the family behind Nerf Battle RVA, has launched across the East Coast. The company packs a complete Nerf battle party into a single crate and ships it free both ways, so parents can run a full battle party at home without buying or storing any gear.
Each crate holds a Nerf Strongarm blaster for every player plus two backups, 1,000 foam darts, safety glasses, team pinnies, camo netting for building bunkers, take-home party favors, and a laminated guide with seven ready-made games. The crate arrives by the Thursday before the party, and families keep it a full week. When the party is over, they drop it at UPS with the prepaid return label inside the box.
"Parents kept asking us if we could ship the parties we run in Richmond to relatives in other states," said Chris Tabb, founder of Birthday Battle Box. "So we put the whole party in a crate. Everything a parent needs is in the box, including the instructions. They run the games, the kids have a blast, and the crate comes back to us."

Crates come in two sizes: $199 for 8 players and $259 for 12 players, with free UPS shipping both ways from Richmond, Virginia. The service covers the East Coast from Maine to Florida, plus Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Washington, DC. Rain on party day is covered too: families can move their date free. A free online invitation maker is included at birthdaybattlebox.com/invite.
Alongside the crates, the company publishes free birthday party planning guides for 48 metro areas across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, covering 361 cities and towns, with real local prices for parks, pavilions, venues and hosted parties in each area. The guides are free to read at birthdaybattlebox.com and carry no booking requirement.
Birthday Battle Box is a product line of NERF BATTLE RVA LLC, a family company in Richmond, Virginia. The local rental business, Nerf Battle RVA, runs Nerf battle parties across the Richmond area, and Birthday Battle Box brings the same format to families up and down the East Coast.
