SACRAMENTO, Calif. - s4story -- Sacramento, California— Special Shoes for My Little Feet, written by Sacramento resident Susan D. Powers, has been nominated for a 2021 Author Elite Award, an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry. Powers's book, which is competing in the Picture Book/Middle-Grade category, is about a little boy who wears his family's "special shoes" to help him learn what makes him important.

Entries are being reviewed and evaluated on popular vote, social contribution, and overall presentation (cover, content, flow, and originality) by the Elite Awards voting membership, comprised of best-selling authors, literary agents, and industry leaders.
