Safety is the top priority for pressure vessel manufacturers

DE PERE, Wis. - s4story -- Robinson's dedication to safety is backed by certifications
Pressure vessel manufacturers such as Robinson understand better than anyone the importance of safety with regard to their products. It is not an overstatement to say people could lose their lives if we fail to deliver pressure vessels that meet the strict standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
As with many elements of manufacturing safety, a series of disasters served as the motivation for developing the standards and codes we follow today as part of the mechanical engineering industry. The state of Massachusetts created the first legal code for the construction of steam boilers in 1907 following explosions the previous two years at factories there.
Pressure vessel manufacturers were put on notice that safety would be paramount going forward. This turned out to be the best thing that could have happened in the long term. We now have the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code to keep our own and our customers' workforces safe.

Robinson is certified to ASME codes that allow us to manufacture pressure vessels under the S, U and R stamps.
Non-standard sizes differentiate pressure vessel manufacturers
Robinson stands apart from many of our competitors among pressure vessel manufacturers and stainless steel tank fabricators by our ability to produce non-standard sizes. This includes pressure vessels as small as 6 inches in diameter and 12 inches in length to as large as 10 feet in diameter and 40 feet in length.
"Our teams know you depend on our products to safely operate within your processes and operations," says Jamie Tilkens, division manager for Robinson. "We take pride in delivering safe and efficient pressure vessels for customers throughout North America."
We serve customers in a variety of industries that depend on our products for containment of pressure including oil and gas, food and beverage, water treatment, chemical, biofuel, and cannabis. This versatility has enabled Robinson to establish itself as a leader among pressure vessel manufacturers.
