LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - s4story -- Christie Leigh Babirad's new poetry collection Scarlet Secrets: Poems (TouchPoint Press, November 3, 2021) is an intimate glimpse into the soul of the poet as she reflects on truth, love, and desire.

Babirad describes the collection as one "about love, romance, seasons, and capturing the electricity and magic of life, but… also about the frustration and pain in relationship and societal dynamics at times." Scarlet Secrets speaks to the universal human experience through deeply personal poems that will resonate with adult readers, especially women, and spark a feeling of genuine human connection in a time when many feel isolated. In the poet's words, "Every poem in this collection contains thoughts that are intimate and would only be shared in a poem/through art with your closest family or lover."

About the Book
Scarlet Secrets is Christie Leigh's second collection of poems. This is a book about desire, heartbreak and times of metaphorical wilderness in our lives, and those dreams kept private in the deepest part of the soul.
