Self-Care Sucks! When Wellness Runs Dry
S For Story/10399820
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - s4story -- Koalatative Guided Solutions, LLC, the wellness education company and creator of The Guide Key to Wellness Blog, announced that they have launched their first publication titled: When Wellness Runs Dry - Your Return to Self-Care Begins Here. The book is part of KGS, LLC's efforts to address the rise in "Self-Care Burnout." The company coined the term after discovering that people who were engaging in numerous unsustainable self-care strategies experienced symptoms of burnout which adversely affected their health and caused them to quit self-care altogether. The book addresses this phenomenon and helps its readers to get back to basics and restart their self-care journey one small step at a time.
"This [book] is the resource I wish I had when beginning and creating my self-wellness routine" – Ashley Jelks-Fragier Managing Member/CEO of KGS, LLC and author of When Wellness Runs Dry. "Hopefully this book will be seen as a beginning source to help those wanting to return to the basics of wellness." The book is being sold in eBook, Kindle, and paperback formats. Paperback and Kindle versions are available through Amazon only. The eBook can be purchased online at Apple Books, Barnes and Noble, and Google Play Books. This eBook is also available through Scribd as part of the reading collection with paid membership.

Stress experienced among Americans:
Studies showing the experience of burnout among Americans have been increasing significantly over the last decade. The American Psychological Association (2017) released findings that 3 out of 4 Americans had experienced at least one (1) stress symptom last month. Self-Care is usually the suggested remedy for tackling stress and burnout symptoms. As the popularity of self-care rises so does the number of products and services to supply this new demand. However, not all self-care strategies are created equal and many people often try rigorous self-care techniques initially which eventually become unsustainable. This can cause more stress and burnout from self-care and then forces people to give up and settle for their current level of wellness which often lead to health problems later. For more information about the American Psychological Associations on-going studies regarding stress in America, please visit, www.apa.org.
