Stress experienced among Americans:

Studies showing the experience of burnout among Americans have been increasing significantly over the last decade. The American Psychological Association (2017) released findings that 3 out of 4 Americans had experienced at least one (1) stress symptom last month. Self-Care is usually the suggested remedy for tackling stress and burnout symptoms. As the popularity of self-care rises so does the number of products and services to supply this new demand. However, not all self-care strategies are created equal and many people often try rigorous self-care techniques initially which eventually become unsustainable. This can cause more stress and burnout from self-care and then forces people to give up and settle for their current level of wellness which often lead to health problems later.
