She Writes Python and Produces Music. KayeDinero Has a Question About AI Artists
S For Story/10703102
As AI music moves deeper into the mainstream, the Asheville creator behind "Human Error" brings an unusual perspective shaped by software, financial technology and independent production.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - s4story -- KayeDinero is not approaching the growing debate around artificial intelligence in music as someone afraid of computers.
She writes code.
The Asheville-based independent artist and producer also works across Python, software development, data pipelines, financial analytics and TradingView indicator development.
That makes the rapidly changing relationship between artificial intelligence and music especially interesting to her.
And it gives the title of her recent album Human Error another meaning.
"Technology doesn't scare me," KayeDinero said. "I build with technology. What interests me is where the tool ends and the human decision begins."

When the Artist Understands the Machine
The music industry is currently confronting questions around AI-generated music, licensing, copyright and whether artists should have control over how their work is incorporated into AI systems.
For KayeDinero, those questions sit directly between her two worlds.
She develops technical systems while also producing music through I Love Food Media, including recent projects Human Error and Kulture Metrics and singles including "Cass Tech," "Pipeline Developer" and "Nine Mile."
"I understand why people are fascinated by automation," she said. "But creativity isn't only the output. It's why somebody made the choice in the first place."
Human Error Was the Point
Human Error explores technology, instinct and imperfection—the parts of human behavior that systems are often designed to eliminate.

KayeDinero sees those imperfections differently.
"A computer can execute instructions perfectly," she said. "Humans change their minds, improvise, make mistakes and discover something they weren't looking for. That's often where art happens."
Her multidisciplinary work now extends beyond software and music into financial-market tools, entrepreneurship and aerial cinematography.
Rather than separating those disciplines, KayeDinero says they share one foundation:
pattern recognition.
"Code has structure. Markets have patterns. Music has patterns. Aerial cinematography has composition," she said. "I'm interested in what humans do with the tools."
