EAST ORANGE, N.J. - s4story -- Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs happen in small rooms.

A select group of East Orange Chamber of Commerce members gathered at the East Orange Public Library for an intimate, hands-on workshop led by Executive Coach and AI Consultant Anna D. Banks, Founder of Thrive Leadership Institute, Inc.

The session, "Talk to Your Phone: AI That Works for Real Business," was designed to move beyond theory and into real application—giving participants the opportunity to use artificial intelligence tools directly from their phones to solve everyday business challenges.

"This was intentionally a small group experience," said Banks. "When people have the space to ask questions, test ideas, and apply what they're learning in real time, that's where the shift happens."

Throughout the two-hour session, participants actively engaged in guided exercises, working individually and in small groups to explore how AI can support their businesses immediately.

Attendees learned how to:

• Turn simple voice prompts into emails, marketing content, and business ideas
• Streamline repetitive tasks and free up valuable time
• Use AI tools to improve consistency, visibility, and productivity
• Approach AI with clarity and confidence, regardless of experience level

The session created an environment of collaboration and practical learning, where participants could connect the tools directly to their own business needs.

For many, the experience marked a shift—from curiosity about AI to confidence in using it.

"AI doesn't have to feel overwhelming," Banks added. "When you break it down and make it accessible, it becomes one of the most powerful tools a business owner can use."
