Small businesses continue to be the backbone of our local, statewide and national economy. Learn more about the critical role they play during SBA Small Business Week and beyond
SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - s4story -- The US Small Business Administration is calling attention the over 31 million small businesses across the country during Small Business Week the first full week of May. Coinciding with National Travel and Tourism Week, the Southern Ocean County Chamber will mark both with a series of events from May 3-5 from After Hours networking to Google Live Stream Viewing event. The purpose of this week is to honor the entrepreneurs and generational owned businesses, who have played their part in establishing businesses that serve local consumers, create jobs, provide services and grow our economy.
Small businesses make up 99% of all businesses here in Southern Ocean County, as well as the nation. Operating a successful business relies on assistance from the community as much as solid strategic planning from ownership.
