Spring-Themed Children's Book Wins Award!
S For Story/10622816
RICHMOND, Va. - s4story -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is proud to announce that My Favorite Season is Spring by Patrice Wilkerson is a 2023 Story Monsters Approved winner!
Story Monsters Approved is a unique program that honors authors in children's literature. Different from other programs, submitted books are judged solely on their own merit rather than competing with other authors in the genre. Perhaps the most cherished aspect of the program is that in addition to industry experts, each submission is judged by young readers. Earning the Story Monster Seal of Approval means that an author's book is being recommended by children, for children!
Patrice Wilkerson is a published author from Nelson, Virginia. She has a Bachelor of Science and a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. In 2010, she published her first book entitled, Through It All, I'm Going to Make It. Her writing has been featured in Quilted Poems: An Ekphrastic Collaboration of Poets and Quilters and Dear God: 118 Devotional Prayers for Teens and Young Adults. She is a member of the Poetry Society of Virginia, the Virginia Writers Club, and Hampton Roads Writers.
