This hybrid event provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers worldwide to showcase their socially engaged and relevant works from March 11 to 16, 2025, in person, in New York City, and online afterward. Submissions are accepted on FilmFreeway.

SR Socially Relevant™ Film Festival NY focuses exclusively on socially relevant human interest stories that raise awareness of social problems through the powerful medium of cinema. To date, SRFF has screened over 750 films from 40 countries. SRFF 2025 will mark its twelfth edition. SRFF is committed to promoting films that provoke thought and foster dialogue on critical social issues such as social justice, human rights, the environment, BIPOC films and filmmakers, women and girls, aging, and more.
