MPP Jones sees first-hand Maratek's innovation, environmental impact, and commitment to local jobs
BOLTON, Ontario - s4story -- Bolton- Local Member of Provincial Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, Sylvia Jones visited Maratek Environmental's state-of-the-art facility on August 7th to hear more about their work as a leader in solvent recovery and recycling technology.
The visit recognises Maratek's technological innovation, environmental stewardship, and economic contribution to Ontario.
During the facility tour, MPP Jones, who is also Ontario's Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, observed Maratek's solvent recovery systems in operation and engaged with the company's engineering and leadership team. The visit highlighted how Maratek's technology enables industrial customers across paint and coatings, printing, automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors to recover and recycle solvents while reducing waste and operating costs.
"Maratek represents the very best of the innovation taking place right here in Dufferin-Caledon and across the province," said MPP Jones. "As our government continues to protect Ontario, their dedicated team and technology are strengthening our local economy while reinforcing Ontario's position as a hub for technology and innovation."
