S For Story/10675846
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - s4story -- Synergy Senior Fitness has launched BAM Plus+, a twice-weekly fitness class for adults 55 and older. The class meets at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at the FHCP Activity Center at Pictona, 1060 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill, Florida. BAM Plus+ builds on the center's BAM (Balance and Motion) program and combines strength training, low-impact cardio, agility drills, core work, balance practice and flexibility. Music and seated or standing modifications accommodate a range of fitness levels, including beginners and returning exercisers.
"BAM Plus+ is designed for adults 55 and older who refuse to slow down," instructor Annie Telesh said. "The class helps participants move with greater agility, resilience and self-assurance while pursuing their passions." The program emphasizes functional fitness to support independence, confidence and fall prevention in daily life. Participants are encouraged to bring water; no special equipment is required. Registration and details are available at https://www.synergyseniorfitness.com/. Classes are free with most insurance plans or by donation.
