For Mascarenhas, who balanced building a multi-entity corporate holding company with academic goals and competitive athletics, the first few days of the sabbatical have highlighted the friction of shifting gears.

During the remainder of the winter quarter, Mascarenhas's personal itinerary centers on faith, intellectual growth, and concluding his competitive high school swim season with the Gilbert Christian Knights. His daily disciplines focus will focus heavily on reading, studying long-form media and podcasts, and deepening his spiritual foundations.
