The 4th Edition of the Most Sought-after Secret Event Held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Monroe Park
S For Story/10500381
RICHMOND, Va. - s4story -- The 4th edition of Le Dîner en Blanc - Richmond took over historic Monroe Park on September 11th, for another unforgettable night of friendship, elegance and fun.
Over 1200 guests met at departure points throughout the VCU Campus and volunteer Group Leaders led them to the beautiful location just before dusk for the sole purpose of sharing a gourmet meal with good friends in one of the city's most prestigious locations.
Jazzy music provided by DJ Rich and the Victor Haskins' Quartet greeted guests as they arrived. Toting elegant white picnic baskets filled to the brim with gourmet treats, they set up their tables and chairs and created unique table decor designs, including elegant chandeliers, miniature lit Eiffel Towers, and lanterns and sparkling lights. As guests waited for all tables settings to be perfected, they were entertained by amazing up close magic, performed by local Magician, James Mellancamp. At 7:15pm, the traditional waving of white linen napkins signaled the beginning of dinner. The sounds of the Quartet continued to fill the air throughout dinner, while guests dined and enjoyed the company of friends. The Brown Ballerinas for Change and Circular Expressions treated guests to amazing dance performances. After dinner, 1200 glowing sparkers signaled the opening of the dance floor, with an energetic performance by DJ Mikemetic.
