CHICAGO - s4story -- This fall heralds the debut of a different comic book series called Time Rejects. No heroes in tights or medieval sword play in this one. Well, not in the first chapter, anyway.

However, there are ghosts, paranormal investigators, robots, and many other-world occupants within the cautionary science fiction tale.

The brand-new story combines several popular genres. In an age of never-ending super hero yarns, the Creator John Schwartz thought it would be inventive to offer audiences a fresh alternative.

"Escapism and entertainment should be the hallmarks of serialized storytelling", said Schwartz.

John's comic makes a timely debut on the popular crowdfunding site, Kickstarter, a few weeks before Halloween with a simple offer to backers. The first issue is ready for readers to add to their collection.

"Anyone thinking there are no original stories left to be told is missing out on an amazing journey," added Schwartz. Fortunately, there are many more chapters to enjoy before the saga ends.
