The Kryder Law Group, LLC Announces $500,000 Recovered in Slip and Fall Settlements
S For Story/10699846
The Chicago-based personal injury law firm founded by Attorney Andrew S. Kryder announces two recent slip and fall settlements—$400,000 for a client who suffered a torn ACL at a major grocery chain and $100,000 for a client who broke an ankle at her apartment complex.
VERNON HILLS, Ill. - s4story -- Slip and fall accidents can happen anywhere, at any time—and the consequences can be life-altering. The Kryder Law Group, LLC Accident and Injury Lawyers today announced the outcome of two slip and fall cases totaling $500,000, underscoring the firm's continued commitment to recovering fair compensation for injured clients across Illinois and throughout the Midwest.
In the first case, a client slipped on a wet floor in the aisle of a major grocery chain in Chicago. The fall caused a torn ACL that required surgery and an extended course of physical therapy. The case settled for $400,000.
In the second case, the defense vehemently contested responsibility for the claim. The client sustained a broken ankle and tendon damage after slipping and falling at her apartment complex in Vernon Hills, Illinois. That injury also required surgical intervention. The case closed without the defendant admitting any fault or liability, but paying a $100,000 settlement.

The Kryder Law Group has built a strong track record of six-figure recoveries for injured clients—and those outcomes matter. Premises liability claims have unique evidentiary requirements which require the plaintiff to establish actual notice of a dangerous condition or constructive notice of a dangerous condition. Skilled injury lawyers understand the complexities that this presents.
A $100,000 or $400,000 settlement may not make headlines the way a multi-million-dollar verdict does, but for a family dealing with medical bills, lost income, and a long recovery, that money can be life-changing.
"We meet our clients at some of the hardest moments of their lives," said Founding Partner Andrew S. Kryder, Esq. "A serious injury touches everything—your health, your finances, your family. Every case we take on matters to us, because every recovery matters to the person behind it. Our job is to make things a little better during a very difficult time."
Whether the case makes headlines or not, the firm fights to get every client the full and fair compensation they deserve.
