The SPIN Awards Celebrates the Men Behind Christian Gospel Radio With Inaugural "Dope Men in Radio"
S For Story/10703129
ATLANTA - s4story -- The SPIN Awards will introduce Dope Men in Radio, a new celebration recognizing men who use their voices, platforms and influence to help advance Christian Gospel Radio.
The inaugural class includes Dr. Robert Barnes, Brian David, Eric Jones, Emcee N.I.C.E., Trevone Perry and Jonas Ross.
Six men in different lanes who spin the Gospel.
Together, they reflect the broad reach of Christian Gospel Radio today......from broadcasting and programming to station ownership, show development, music, ministry and digital media. While their paths and platforms are different, each has made a commitment to using radio and media to reach listeners and help keep the Gospel moving across the airwaves.
"Over the last five years, we have watched Dope Women in Radio grow into something very special," said The SPIN Awards BM Snowden of The Spin Awards "There was also a story to tell about the men who continue to serve, build, broadcast and make room for the Gospel through radio. Dope Men in Radio gives us an opportunity to bring some of those men together, celebrate their work and simply say, 'We see you, and we celebrate you.'"

Among the inaugural class is Brian David, host of Christian Music Spotlight, which received back-to-back SPIN Awards for Best Late/Evening Show of the Year in 2024 and 2025 and is again among the nominees for 2026.
Emcee N.I.C.E., co-founder of God's House of Hip Hop Radio, represents another dimension of the changing Gospel radio landscape. The Christian Hip Hop station became the first station of its kind to receive a Stellar Award, helping expand the presence of Christian and Gospel Hip Hop in radio.
The class also includes Trevone Perry of Hands Up Radio, along with broadcasters and radio personalities Dr. Robert Barnes, Eric Jones and Jonas Ross, bringing together men whose work represents different voices and areas of service within Christian Gospel Radio.
Antoine Hilton to Host
Gospel recording artist, songwriter, musician and producer Antoine Hilton will serve as host of the inaugural celebration, bringing his music, ministry and personality to an afternoon centered on fellowship, appreciation and the men behind the microphones and radio platforms.
