This Giving Tuesday, Donate to LifeLine Pilots to Help Care Take Flight

Provide the Gift of Free Flights for Patients to Access Care Far from Home this Holiday Season
PEORIA, Ill. - s4story -- LifeLine Pilots, a Midwest nonprofit providing free non-emergency medical flights since 1981, is launching its Giving Tuesday campaign to raise $5,000. Thanks to a generous match, every donation made this Tuesday, December 2, will be doubled to fund non-emergency medical flights for patients who need to travel long distances for necessary care.
When someone receives a life-changing diagnosis, the care they need is often far from home, and distance can prevent timely treatment. LifeLine Pilots helps bridge that gap by coordinating free air transportation, through volunteer pilots, for passengers with medical or humanitarian needs.
"We envision a world where every person has equal access to transportation for health care," says Lindsey Kerr, Executive Director of LifeLine Pilots. "Our role is to help by coordinating free, non-emergency flights, but we need donors to help us serve the growing need. Giving Tuesday is the perfect time to make your gift go further by doubling your impact."
