Latrisa Pugh, University of Alabama alum and staff to share debut book with surrounding community.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - May 17, 2019 - s4story -- University of Alabama Alumni, Latrisa Pugh will host a book signing for her debut release, Finding Freedom in Finances. The event will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2019 beginning at 4pm at Synovus Bank (Tuscaloosa Plaza Branch).
"I've served my community through the work of financial literacy. Writing the book has been one of the tools to help me expand my reach" says Latrisa Pugh.
Pugh is an alumni of University of Alabama. She currently serves on staff in the College of Arts and Sciences as an accountant. Her previous UA work also includes contributions to the Division of Student Affairs. Pugh's other professional accounting service includes work at the Alabama Department of Corrections. She is the founder of Pugh Financial Coaching and organization devoted to increasing financial literacy for individuals, families and organizations.

Pugh's debut release, Finding Freedom in Finances, was released March 2019 by EvyDani Books. Pugh offers a daily perspective on finances and practical tips for application. Former University of Alabama, Consumer Sciences professor Jan Brakefield provided the foreword for the book.

For more than eight years she has worked as an Accountant for the Alabama Department of Corrections and University of Alabama. As the founder of Pugh Financial Coaching, she offers tailored instruction on money management to help individuals and families learn to live the best version of their lives.
