Illustrated guide features all seven public golf courses on Hawaii's Garden Island
GREEN BAY, Wis. - s4story -- Golf writer Mike Dauplaise has released an updated version of his popular guide to the Hawaiian island of Kauai's public golf offerings. Golf Kauai: An Illustrated Guide to Golf Courses on Hawaii's Garden Island (M&B Global Solutions Inc.) now features more than 100 photos highlighting the beauty of the western-most island in the Hawaiian chain.
Dauplaise takes readers on a personal tour of Kauai's public golf courses from the high-end resorts to the surprisingly affordable municipal and daily fee courses that are favorites with the locals. This hole-by-hole, shot-by-shot resource features detailed descriptions and color photos that will help readers visualize shots and plan strategy like a member, including course management tips and detail not found in any yardage guide or GPS app.
Highlighted by designs from famed golf course architects Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Jack Nicklaus, readers will see why Kauai is one of the most popular golf vacation destinations in the world. Jones, who lives part-time on Kauai and designed several of the island's courses, also provides the foreword for this edition of the book.
