VenueMagnet Expands Nationwide With a No-Commission Venue Marketplace
S For Story/10700240
VenueMagnet is expanding into major U.S. cities, connecting renters with distinctive spaces for events, meetings, productions and celebrations while giving hosts a commission-free way to reach new customers.
LOS ANGELES - s4story -- VenueMagnet, an online marketplace for event and production spaces, announced an expansion of its venue network into cities across the United States, giving more hosts a way to reach people searching for places to gather, celebrate, meet and create.
VenueMagnet was built around a simple idea: make it easier for people to find and book interesting spaces while giving venue owners a more affordable way to attract business. Unlike marketplaces that take a percentage of a host's booking revenue, VenueMagnet does not charge hosts a commission on bookings.
The marketplace includes a wide range of spaces, from private homes, estates and mansions to restaurants, studios, meeting spaces, rooftops and other distinctive locations. Renters can search by city, type of venue and intended use, making it easier to narrow down spaces that fit what they are planning.
The expansion is designed to make VenueMagnet increasingly useful at the local level. Rather than focusing only on a handful of major markets, the platform is building out venue inventory and dedicated search pages across cities and surrounding communities throughout the country.

"Venue owners already have enough expenses involved in operating a space," said a VenueMagnet spokesperson. "We wanted to build a marketplace that can bring them new customers without taking a large percentage of what they earn. At the same time, we want people looking for a space to have a much broader selection than the usual venues they see everywhere else."
VenueMagnet is also designed for spaces that can serve more than one purpose. A property that hosts a birthday dinner one weekend might be used for a photo shoot, corporate gathering, wedding reception or private event the next. The platform helps renters discover those possibilities by connecting venues with searches across a variety of event and production needs.
As VenueMagnet continues its expansion, the company is adding venues and building its presence in additional U.S. markets. Venue owners can claim existing listings or add their spaces to the marketplace.
