FORT WORTH, Texas - s4story -- FORT WORTH, Texas — The Vintage Flying Museum is proud to announce a special Independence Day event celebrating America's 250th anniversary, bringing together aviation enthusiasts, families, veterans, and community members for a day filled with history, heritage, and patriotic spirit.

The Vintage Flying Museum invites the public to spend the day celebrating America's 250th Birthday with living aviation history, music, food, special vehicles, and community fun.

The July 4th America 250 Celebration will highlight the museum's mission to preserve and share the legacy of American aviation while offering a full day of activities. Guests are invited to fly in or drive in, bring a classic car if they have one, explore rare and historic aircraft up close, enjoy live big band music, connect with WWII re-enactors, and experience family-friendly activities throughout the day.

  • Historic Aircraft : Explore iconic warbirds, bombers, and vintage aircraft that helped define America's aviation legacy.
  • C-49J "Southern Cross" Airplane Rides
  • Live Big Band Music: Enjoy performances by the Dynamic Swing Machine Big Band at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
  • Fly-In, Drive-In and Classic Car Welcome: Guests are encouraged to fly in or drive in, and classic cars, vintage show cars, military vehicles, and fly-in aircraft are welcome.
  • WWII Re-Enactors and Living History: Meet re-enactors and experience engaging connections to America's wartime aviation history.
  • Food Trucks and Independence Day Atmosphere: Celebrate with food trucks, music, community activities, photo opportunities, and a festive July 4th environment.
