This time-honored celebration promises a delightful escape from the holiday rush and provides an array of activities suitable for both children and adults.
LOS ALTOS HILLS, Calif. - s4story -- Waldorf School of the Peninsula invites the community to its enchanting 37th Annual Winter Faire on Saturday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the school's campus located at 11311 Mora Drive, Los Altos, California 94024.
This time-honored celebration promises a delightful escape from the holiday rush and provides an array of activities suitable for both children and adults. Guests will be immersed in a festive atmosphere and enjoy engaging, hands-on experiences, including crafting beeswax candles, wreath-making with fresh greenery, and creating unique holiday gifts from natural materials.
A highlight of the Faire is the Gnome Adventure, a whimsical journey through seasonal vignettes where children discover gnomes reveling in the joys of winter, spring, summer, and fall. As a keepsake, each child receives a small gem, reminiscent of the magical journey they experienced. Other wonderful touches include wandering characters with handmade treasures and live music throughout the day.

For the younger attendees, a variety of old-fashioned games such as Treasure Mountain, Leap of Faith, Troll Bridge, and Catapult Castle will be available. Every game concludes with a small treasure as a prize.
Throughout the day, Crafter's Workshops will offer engaging activities for crafting gifts with natural materials, and homemade jump ropes. Our early childhood teachers will perform a much-loved puppet show with this year's story "Gluscabi and the Wind Eagle," using handmade marionette puppets.
This year we are excited to feature food trucks Curry Up Now and El Sur Empanada, along with the Red Bay Coffee for warm beverages and Blissful Bites for homemade Baklava. Meals can be enjoyed at our communal dining tables set up on the lawn.
Free on-site parking and shuttle services to nearby lots will be provided. Park at Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Redeemer on Magdalena Avenue.
