SOUTH WHITLEY, Ind. - s4story -- Whitley Manufacturing Co, Inc. announces its industry recognition and award for its recent (MRI) facility project completed for Wellspan Health and Surgery Center in partnership with Innovative Modular Solutions at the Modular Building Institute's 2020 World of Modular convention in Orlando, Florida.
The "Permanent Modular Healthcare – Under 10,000 sq. ft." award was given to this project for the outstanding efforts achieved in design, efficiency, and use of a small layout space for the permanent MRI facility.
The building located in Hanover, Pennsylvania houses key and important MRI equipment and features RF shielding, as well as magnetic shielding. The layout of the building consists of an equipment room, scan room, and control room. The building was built to a 75% completion level, and finishes installed at the project site with the MRI equipment being lifted in place by crane through the roof on-site.
