Young Readers Encounter United Tree-Dwellers in "Fire and Water"
S For Story/10495456
WESTPORT, Conn. - s4story -- "Fire and Water," book three of Caroline Barney's children series The Trebor Tales, is set to release October 5th, 2021. "Fire and Water" reintroduces character Stella as she struggles to unite her community of trebors— a civilization of tree-dwellers. Admist this struggle, Stella proves anything is possible once a community decides to work together.
Barney found the power of community herself during work in advertising. The fast-paced whirlwind of NYC advertising not only taught Barney audience targeting and communication skills, but also showed her that, "we accomplished nothing good if we didn't all work together."
Creating progress through community is the magic that transformed the huge tree Barney once passed while walking her dog into the hidden world of The Trebor Tales. In continuing this series, Barney hopes "Fire and Water" teaches readers the value of connecting to something beyond themselves.

About the Book
The Trebors are in more danger than ever before. The tribe is divided, Mt. Bor spits fire as its caverns boil, and the Borian Sea holds a secret of its own.
When the malpeds flew away with seeds from the great tree, scouts are sent to retrieve them, but the power of the seeds is so great they grow immediately into a field of fledgling trees. Within days, the tribe is divided between those seeking a new way of life in the field nestled at the foot of Mt. Bor, and those choosing to stay with the great tree.
Determined to bring the tribe back together and stop the forces that threaten the Trebors' way of life, Stella leads the Trebors into their fiercest battle yet.
Readers can find "Fire and Water" on October 5th, 2021 at https://bit.ly/CarolineBarleyFireandWater. "Fire and Water" will also be available from major book retailers in eBook ($2.99) and paperback ($14.99). Wholesale from Ingram and TouchPoint Press.
