PHILADELPHIA - s4story -- The African American Genealogy Group of Philadelphia (AAGG) proudly announces the launch of its 2025 Raffle Fundraiser, running now through December 31, 2025. This exciting initiative invites community members to celebrate heritage, support vital genealogical education, and win incredible prizes—all while helping preserve the powerful ancestral stories that shape future generations.

Celebrate Legacy, Support Community

Every raffle ticket purchased directly funds educational programming, outreach opportunities, and the preservation of family records. "Every story counts," says AAGG leadership. "By participating, you're uplifting voices and histories that inspire generations to come."

How to Participate
  • Choose your prize level—Gold or Silver—or both.
    • Silver Level: 2 tickets for $5 or 5 tickets for $10
    • Gold Level: 1 ticket for $10
  • Mail your form (see dowlnoad link below) and payment: Completed ticket sales sheets and payments (via personal check or money order) must be mailed to:
    African American Genealogy Group, Attn: Holiday 2025, P.O. Box 27356, Philadelphia, PA 19118-0356.

Silver Level Prizes
  • Five (5) AncestryDNA Test Kits
  • Two (2) archival photo boxes for safe storage of family photographs
Key Dates & Rules
  • Participation Period: November 28 – December 31, 2025
  • Eligibility: Open to U.S. residents, 18 years and older.
  • Drawing: Winners selected by random draw, announced live at the January 13, 2026 AAGG General Monthly Meeting. Winners need not be present to win.
  • Notification: Winners will be contacted via phone and email. Prizes will ship within 10 business days of confirmation.
