DENVER - s4story -- Animas Excavating has launched a new sewer line repair page that walks homeowners and commercial property owners through full-scope sewer line repair, from the main in the street all the way to the house. Most companies handle part of the job. Animas handles all of it, including the excavation work a plumber typically can't do.

When a sewer line fails, the warning signs tend to show up fast. Slow drains, backups, gurgling pipes, sewage odors, and soggy patches in the yard usually mean something underground has gone wrong. The new page explains what those signs point to and how the crew fixes the problem at the source, then restores the surface once the line is repaired. Catching it early often keeps a small repair from turning into a much bigger one.

Sewer line work is where founder Mike Zarlingo got his start. "I cut my teeth in this business doing sewer line repair and so it's kind of near and dear to me," he said.

The page also breaks down how the work actually happens, in a section called How Sewer Line Repair Works: Our Process, so property owners know what to expect before anything gets dug up. It sits alongside the full range of excavation services Animas offers throughout the Four Corners region, and it walks through:

• Locating the failed line and confirming the scope
• Cutting and removing asphalt to reach the main
• Tapping the main and running new line to the house
• Backfilling with special flow fills and special backfills
• Patching asphalt, sidewalk, and curb and gutter

Beyond the repair itself, the page answers common questions about cost, timing, and permits. It covers the areas the company serves across Durango, Bayfield, Hesperus, Mancos, Cortez, and Pagosa Springs, and it shares a bit of the company's story and the local roots behind it.
