S For Story/10450725
BOSTON & MEMPHIS, Tenn. - s4story -- Fresh on the heels of her Boston Music Awards nomination for Blues Artist of the Year 2020, indie blues and roots artist Veronica Lewis announces her signing with Blue Heart Records. This piano player, singer, and songwriter puts a truly modern spin on the roots of American music. Call it blues, call it roots, call it what you will; it's 100% Veronica Lewis. Her tight, straight-ahead trio of piano, drums, and sax delivers a stunningly "full-on" sound, combined with a vocal style that belts out a message of gratitude and positivity that is much needed in these challenging times.
A seasoned pro at 17, Veronica is already the talk of the industry, having won the 2020 Boston Blues Challenge and 2020's Best Young Artist/New England Music Hall of Fame award and Granite State Blues Challenge. She has toured packed venues in support of national and internationally acclaimed headline artists, such as Gary Hoey, Eric Gales, Popa Chubby, Mr. Sipp, Sugaray Rayford, Barrence Whiteld, and Roomful of Blues. She performed alongside her heroes, Marcia Ball and Victor Wainwright, at the Rhythm Roots Festival with her own main lineup slot.

"It is a distinct honor to be part of an emerging artist's career, and we are proud to welcome Veronica to our musical family," says Blue Heart Records President, Sallie Bengtson. "She is a talented young woman of great ability and passion; whose musical joy radiates from her every performance. We look forward to sharing her music with the world."
