Delaplaine Foundation Awards Weinberg Center Grant to Benefit Local Veterans
S For Story/10649599
FREDERICK, Md. - s4story -- The Weinberg Center for the Arts' free ticket initiative for area veterans, Vets' Night Out, will continue in 2025. The program is made possible through a generous grant from the Delaplaine Foundation. Vets' Night Out seeks to provide a memorable arts experience for Frederick area veterans and their families by providing free tickets to Weinberg Center and New Spire Arts performances.
"We are so grateful to the Delaplaine Foundation for their generosity," said Manager of Development Rebecca O'Leary. "We've had an overwhelmingly positive response to this program. This program will not only help us thank our veterans for their service, but it also provides a social, arts-based activity to boost camaraderie in the local veteran community. We can't thank the Delaplaine Foundation enough for their support as we enter the program's tenth year."
