DG Magnetics R&D LLC Announces Issuance of Second U.S. Patent, Expanding Its Electromagnetic Technology Portfolio

JUPITER, Fla. - s4story -- DG Magnetics R&D LLC Announces Issuance of Second U.S. Patent Award,
Expanding Its Electromagnetic Technology Portfolio
DG Magnetics R&D LLC. (MagnaPuncture.com) announces the issuance of its second United States patent, U.S. Patent No. 12,667,520, granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on June 30, 2026.
This newly granted patent emerged as an offshoot of research associated with the company's earlier intellectual property, yet represents a unique electromagnetic technology with much broader, far-reaching commercial applications.
The company's latest patent breaks new ground by applying well established electrical principles in a novel configuration. This unusual patent changes the way magnetic coils are energized and improves overall coil efficiency by dramatically reducing the coil's impedance. This spectacular reduction in resistance also reduces unwanted heat normally generated as a byproduct when energized. While this unique method does not create superconductivity per se, it does deliver room-temperature performance approaching levels which would otherwise be associated with superconducting coils. Furthermore, it appears quite possible that retrofitting this technology to very large or difficult to replace coils can often be accomplished in situ.
"Receiving this second U.S. patent represents an important milestone in the expansion of our intellectual property portfolio," said Dennis Marcantonio, Co-Inventor and Principal of DG Magnetics R&D LLC.. "Our original objective was to develop an engineering framework for organizing and delivering externally applied electromagnetic fields, in combination with light and sound across related physiologic pathways. In simpler terms, we set out to introduce 21st-century technology to a practice with roots extending back many thousands of years. What we did not anticipate, was how that research would take an unexpected turn and lead to an amazing discovery involving how electromagnetic coils themselves can be energized in exciting new ways. That offshoot has now resulted in our second patent and opens an entirely new range of potential commercial applications."

Co-Inventor Greg N. Bartosiewicz, BSMLS, MAcCHM, added: "Innovation increasingly depends upon the combination of rigorous engineering and strong intellectual property. This second patent grew out of years of incremental developments that steadily improved MagnaPuncture®, and its potential applications extend well beyond our original wellness technology.
"MagnaPuncture®, the product of our first patent, was originally developed as a wellness platform intended to enhance the effectiveness and extend the benefits of acupuncture treatments, as illustrated on Absolutewellnessspa.com. Long-term clinical use in our practice have produced encouraging results both as an adjunct to acupuncture, and even shown effectiveness when employed as a standalone wellness treatment. Its coordinated electromagnetic field configurations, combined with light and sound, also provide a platform for continued research across neuromodulation, rehabilitation, integrative medicine, human performance, and wellness applications. The company's first patent, U.S. Patent No. 11,344,738 B2, established the foundational architecture for its MagnaPuncture® technology."
"The patented MagnaPuncture® system, is designed around coordinated, non-invasive electromagnetic field delivery across anatomically and functionally related pathways, with complementary light and sound modalities. Its distributed approach coordinates stimulation across multiple anatomical targets rather than relying solely on isolated point-by-point treatment. MagnaPuncture® may also provide a complementary direction within the broader field of neuromodulation. While many established neuromodulation technologies target central or spinal neural structures through implanted or procedure-based systems, MagnaPuncture® is designed to engage distributed peripheral neuro-fascial pathways externally. This unique distinction creates new opportunities to employ our platform as an adjunct to established neuromodulation and rehabilitation strategies, including the potential for appropriately supervised supportive use in outpatient and, where suitable, home-based settings."
