LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - s4story -- District Leadership Group (DLG) is pleased to announce its official launch as a strategic advisory organization dedicated to supporting school boards, superintendents, and district leadership teams.
DLG provides customized engagements grounded in education law, informed by data, and designed for board-ready action. Its services include governance and board leadership, strategic planning and performance alignment, academic and operational reviews, leadership coaching, organizational culture, family and community engagement, and professional learning.
The organization brings together an accomplished team of recently retired superintendents, district administrators, academic leaders, and education strategists with decades of experience across urban, suburban, and rural school systems. This collective expertise allows DLG to provide practical guidance that reflects the realities of district leadership and the unique needs of each school community.

"District leaders are navigating increasingly complex challenges while remaining focused on what matters most: creating the conditions for students, educators, and communities to thrive," said Hank Grishman, Managing Partner of District Leadership Group. "Our goal is to provide trusted, experience-driven guidance that helps boards and superintendents move from ideas and information to meaningful action."
Every DLG engagement is tailored to the district's priorities, culture, and local context. The organization works collaboratively with district leaders to define goals, examine current conditions, strengthen leadership systems, and develop practical tools that support measurable progress.
"DLG is about bringing the right people, experience, and resources together to help school districts move forward with confidence," said Christina Meixsell, Vice President of Educational Leadership and Strategy. "We are building a network that supports leaders, strengthens partnerships, and creates opportunities to share the knowledge and perspectives shaping public education."
In addition to its advisory services, DLG is developing a series of blogs and thought leadership resources featuring timely insights from experienced education leaders. Topics will include board and superintendent relations, strategic planning, leadership transitions, district culture, student outcomes, artificial intelligence in education, community trust, and other pressing issues affecting public schools.
